You will need to make sure that you have your product key. This is normally found on your COA and is a 25 digit key

You will also need to decide what edition of Windows® XP was originally installed, as your product key will only activate the edition of Windows® XP that was installed originally on your computer. The bit type does not matter a product key will activate both the 32 Bit (x86) and 64 Bit (x64) versions of your Windows® XP edition. However we only support the 32 bit version of XP as the 64 Bit version had systemic problems.
